Attempt to reconcile spouses
Introduction
The court, before authorizing the divorce, convenes the spouses for an attempt to reconciliation if they are both present in Morocco.
Otherwise, it may instruct the Moroccan Diplomatic or Consular mission close to the spouses' residence in order to carry out the reconciliation attempt abroad. The spouses are then convened by the consular services to this end.

- Consular registration of spouses;
- CNIE; or Passports of the interested parties.
