Introduction of a hunting weapon to Morocco
Introduction
It is obligatory, on arrival to Morocco, to verbally declare at the customs office of entry your weapon of hunting and the ammunition, which are subject to an authorization issued by the services of the Directorate-General of National Safety.
While waiting for obtaining this authorization, your weapon of hunting and your ammunition will be placed on hold at the above mentioned office.
Procedure
Before entering Morocco, you should check with the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes:www.douane.gov.ma on:
- Hunting weapons and ammunition that are prohibited for import;
- Hunting weapons and ammunition that are subject to prior import authorization issued by the General Directorate of National Security;
- Arms, other than war, whose importation is subject to the production of an import license issued by the Department of Foreign Trade.
